In the Region of Madrid, there are more than 36 golf courses, of which half are internationally recognized, something that no other autonomous region can match. It goes without saying that there are many golf lovers in Madrid. And tourists coming to the city will not be disappointed with the incredible variety of courses available in the capital itself.

Madrid has more than 35 golf courses, but sometimes it is not easy to find a golf course near the city and which one to choose. That’s why we highlight three golf courses of recognised prestige, good quality and in a perfect location if you are staying in the centre of Madrid.

In Spain, there are more than 280,000 players in 2021, of which 86,000 play in the Madrid region between its 35 golf clubs.

When to go? One of the main assets of Madrid Golf, is the amazing climate with an average of 2.769 hours of sun per year which makes it possible to play golf throughout the season. In Madrid, being a warm and dry climate, you can play golf all year round. January and February are the coldest months and July the warmest.

Madrid-Barajas airport has four terminals, a satellite building and two docks, as well as an Executive terminal and another terminal which is used for cargo handling only.
